When I started freelancing online, I was also lost like you. I didn’t know exactly what skills to offer, though I had basic knowledge of computers and was working as an admin assistant at that time.
I researched online, and honestly, I was really overwhelmed by those suggestions. However, there was one type of freelance job that caught my attention, and that was data entry.
Yep, I started as a data entry operator (that’s what they called it before) on Upwork, and I said to myself, “I’m going to do this.”
It actually matched what I was currently doing. I know Excel; I can do research. I can organise them by category, and it’s a very simple job.
Because of that, my start in freelancing online was not so bad.
